At the recent NSW/Victorian MIGAS Awards celebration, Luke Gavin was named NSW/Victorian Electronics Trainee of the Year 2012 and the top award of NSW/Victorian Overall Trainee of the Year 2012.

MIGAS got involved with the Red Frogs Organisation to assist with the Schoolies 2012 activites in Airlie Beach, Gold Coast, and Byron Bay! Cooking up a storm at Pancake BBQs, handing out bottled water and beach balls, and meeting some great people were just some of the things our MIGAS staff did.

Jack Rossington, a 3rd year refrigeration apprentice employed by MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees and hosted to Haden Engineering in Bundaberg, was awarded the Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) Construction Apprentice of the Year, sponsored by Abigroup, at an Awards Night on Friday 9th November.

The hardest thing about starting a new job, is having to make new friends. Fortunately this is something that Antony Sauter, the latest addition to the INGAL EPS family, does not have to worry about. Antony has been working at INGAL EPS since March 2012 completing his apprenticeship as a boilermaker, and today was the culmination of 5 years hard work. I recently had the opportunity to sit down with the guitarist and now ticketed boilermaker Antony, to discuss his new qualifications.
