Thornton’s Ashley Elphick is an ambassador for apprentices after he was named Apprentice of the Year at a ceremony last Friday night. The 20-year-old apprentice Drafter (Structural De20Year 12. He has been part of a team that designs and assists in the manufacture of coal wash plants. Ashley will progress to the State finals in September to represent the Hunter region.
