Australian apprentices may be able to access additional financial support to provide extra help during their training.

The Australian Government provides a range of income support options for apprentices and trainees to support them to complete their training. It’s important to check eligibility requirements for financial aid and understand the requirements of paying back any loans.

Trade Support Loans – to assist apprentices with everyday costs, these loans can be paid in instalments totalling up to $20,000 over the duration of the apprenticeship.
