Did you have a knack for welding and metalwork during school, or maybe you like spending your free time building and creating projects with your hands? If you think you’re up for a challenge and a job with variety, then a Boilermaking Apprenticeship could be what you’re after!

Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Boilermaker and earn your Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade.

You will get to learn all aspects of boilermaking including welding, thermal cutting and fabrication techniques used to assemble, repair, and build products made of various metals and steel. All this while working in a workshop full of experienced tradespeople.

Our host Civmec has several positions available within their workshop located at Tomago, where you will be hosted with a company that pride themselves on being a leading end-to-end provider of specialist heavy engineering and construction services to the energy, resources, infrastructure, and marine and defence sectors.

Our client is ideally looking for someone to start ASAP, so if you are a school leaver who is looking to get into a boilermaking trade, or a mature aged apprentice looking to broaden their horizons, this could be what you're looking for.

We are looking for someone who has a great drive and passion, with a genuine interest in engineering and who can be committed to fulltime work, especially on working long hours. We are looking for someone who is willing to listen and learn with an ability to retain knowledge.
