The opportunity

Partnered with our client, we are looking for a technically minded individual to start their career in the Electrical Automotive trade. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain on-the-job experience learning from industry professionals with the potential to secure a long-term career. The duration of the traineeship is 12 months in which you will complete your Certificate II in Automotive Electro Technology.

This traineeship will see you perform a range of tasks relating to installing, assembling and servicing Trimble Machine Control and site positioning technology. The role will see you travelling with experienced technicians to heavy vehicle dealers or construction sites throughout Sydney and at times Hunter Valley and Dubbo.

 Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who enjoys hard work, mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve using service manuals. Most of all they will be passionate and enthusiastic about working in this field, with the right attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to impress. In addition to this the ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed grade 12 schooling
  • Flexible with travel
  • Have a manual driver’s licence; preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate with your colleagues
  • White card; desirable
