Do you have a knack for welding and metalwork? Or like spending your free time building and creating projects with your hands? If you think you’re up for a challenge and a job with variety, then a Boilermaking Apprenticeship could be what you’re after!

Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Boilermaker and earn your MEM30319 Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade.

You will get to learn all aspects of boilermaking including grinding, drilling, oxy cutting, reviewing drawings, perform medium to heavy structural steel fabrication and perform routine welding using multiple techniques. As well as operating hand tools and welding equipment and working within a workshop.

Our host is located in Port Kembla. You will be hosted with a company that specialises in demolition, civil, construction, engineering and project management.

Our client is ideally looking for someone to start ASAP, so if you are a school leaver who is looking to get into a Boilermaking trade, or a mature aged apprentice looking to broaden their horizons, this could be what you are looking for.

You must have a genuine interest in engineering and not be afraid to work long days if required. We are looking for someone who is punctual, reliable, enthusiastic about the trade and is willing to listen and develop new skills.
