The opportunity
Partnered with our client, we are currently looking for a motivated individual looking to further their career in business administration. This is a 12-month Traineeship opportunity in which you will be mentored on-the-job whilst completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business. Alongside learning from business professionals, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Administration support to various teams;
- Word and spreadsheet processing;
- Data entry;
- Reception duties;
- General office maintenance and upkeep; and
- Mail handling and posting.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a driven candidate who has a genuine interest in pursuing a career in business administration. You must enjoy working as part of an integrated team and have a track record of delivering a high standard in your work. Tell us in your resume how you have gone above and beyond in your current or previous roles!
You will:
- Have completed Year 12;
- Have a driver’s licence and own vehicle;
- Be competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Have excellent attention to detail skills; and
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Candidates who have completed a Certificate II in Business, or have exposure to an administration role previously, will be highly regarded.
Our client
Our client is an established not-for-profit organisation that delivers vocational education and further training for general practitioners (GP registrars) within the South East Queensland region. They operate out of four de-centralised hubs to address local needs, and are supported by business services-centred offices located at Stafford and Springwood in Brisbane.
