The opportunity
Partnered with our client, we are searching for a 2nd,3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice. This will be an opportunity for you to continue working on your Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician with a national company and to join a professional team with training, guidance and opportunity. Reporting to the supervisor, you will work alongside highly skilled tradesmen installing solar systems in a domestic environment throughout the Sydney metro area.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for enthusiastic and technically-minded candidates who are committed to developing their electrical trade career through the completion of an apprenticeship. You will have a strong aptitude for mathematics and take pride in completing detailed tasks accurately and to a high standard. You will have an enthusiasm to learn and be able to demonstrate maturity and a ‘safety first’ attitude within an industrial environment.
You will:
- Be a second, third or fourth year apprentice
- Hold a current driver’s licence with your own reliable transport.
- White Card
- Be comfortable working at heights
- Be reliable, self-motivated and willing to work.
- Be comfortable to perform physical work in sometimes demanding conditions.
- Pass a pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
- Be required to pass a police check
Applicants who have completed relevant pre-apprenticeship training or work experience within the electrical trade will be very highly regarded.
