Partnered with our client, we are searching for a mechanically minded individual looking to start their career as a Fitter and Turner. Over the 4 years duration of this apprenticeship, you will obtain on-the-job training while working towards completing a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (MEM30205). Working Monday to Friday, you will be responsible for tasks such as welding, installation of boilers, refurbishment, assisting tradesmen, and reading and interpreting plans.

Who we’re looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will enjoy working with your hands, have mechanical aptitude and thrive with practical problem-solving. Tell us in your cover letter what experience you have the interest to pursue this trade, even if it's just outlining some home projects you have completed. You will also have the dedication to see this 4-year apprenticeship through from commencement to completion. In addition to these qualities, you will:
- Possess a manual drivers’ licence;
- Have a sincere interest in pursuing this engineering trade;
- Be punctual and reliable;
- Possess a strong work ethic;
- Possess a mathematical and problem-solving aptitude; and
- Be hard-working and have a can-do attitude.
Prior exposure to machinery or a trade-environment will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
They specialise in contract services in the areas of industrial and commercial boiler supply, maintenance and installation. They offer businesses a complete boiler room solution and specialised hot water and steam generation products.
