This full time opportunity will allow you to complete a Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology via an apprenticeship of up to 48 months’ duration. You will gain valuable hands-on experience, skills and support and have the potential to secure a long-term career with this industry leading host employer. Based in the Granville workshop you will have the support of expert tradesmen to gain the knowledge and skills to maintain a variety of construction site equipment, such as dozers, diggers and loaders. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to travel to the Eastern Creek site to gain broader experience.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who enjoys hard work and mechanical aptitude. Most of all they will be passionate and enthusiastic about working in this field, with the right attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to impress
In addition to this the ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Completed year 12
- Have an aptitude for hands-on, mechanical tasks
- P1 licence with own car
- Be reliable for full-time working hours Monday to Friday as well as some Saturday Mornings
- Be committed to completing and passing all practical and theory-based study requirements of an Apprenticeship
Applicants with a mechanical background in automotive or with heavy machinery will be highly regarded.
