Partnered with our client, we are searching for motivated individuals looking to start their career through a Traineeship pathway. This is a 2-year traineeship, in which the successful candidate will work towards a Certificate III in Rigging over this period. Throughout the Traineeship, you will also obtain 3 high risk work licences as part of your training. Working full-time Monday to Friday, you will work within a team of tradespeople whilst learning new skills on-the-job.
On a daily basis, you will work with cranes from 10t to 200t and work on some of Queensland's largest projects. You will do everything from lifting roof structures onto a house, lifting bridges and beams into place on road works projects, and possibly even erecting tower cranes themselves.

Who we’re looking for
We are searching for individuals who love physically demanding work, working outdoors and with their hands. You might have a particular interest in cranes and how they work, but you definitely will possess a sincere interest in starting your career in construction. This is a 2-year traineeship, so we will also value your drive to see this Traineeship from commencement to completion.
In addition to these qualities, you will:
- Possess a manual driver’s licence;
- Be able to obtain a High Risk Work Licence;
- Be comfortable working at heights;
- Be willing to obtain a drug screen;
- Possess or be willing to obtain a White Card;
- Be proficient with mathematics, particularly in working out the mass of an object;
- Be a team player; and
- Be committed to following OH&S procedures at all times.
Our client is an established business founded in 1970, and have a number of offices throughout South-East Queensland. They provide a wide range of Access Hire and Equipment, Bulk Haulage, General Haulage and Crane Hire, and also operate a fleet of mobile cranes that range in capacity from 20 Tonnes to 75 Tonnes.
