This full-time opportunity will allow you to complete a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication (Sheet Metal) via an apprenticeship of 4 years’ duration. You will gain valuable hands on experience, skills, and support from one of Australia’s leading providers of sheet metal ducting.
Who we’re looking for
Our host is looking for enthusiastic second year Sheet Metal fabrication apprentices to specialise in the manufacturing of stainless steel, aluminium and structural steel. This employer will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to grow within their business and ultimately branch out and expand their experience within the industry.
Ideally this candidate is a self-starter who is willing to show initiative, have a natural drive for the business, and a strong work ethic. You will have great communication skills, attention to detail, be comfortable reading blueprints and technical drawings, and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Our host is looking for someone who is looking to complete their apprenticeship with a single employer and can provide long term employment opportunities for the right applicant. Experience in grinding and professional finishes would be ideal.

Our client has a combined 55 years’ experience in the industry. Specialising in architectural metal work, including but not limited to stainless steel and glass balustrades, architectural cladding, stairs and structural steel to all Australian standards. They possess a strong commitment working with relationships, and upholding a high degree of integrity and quality to employees and customers.
