2017 Origin Apprentice & Trainee Intake

Origin Integrated Gas, together with MIGAS, is searching for the next generation of mechanical and electrical apprentices, and telecommunications trainees to join the regional Queensland team.  

Origin is Australia's leading integrated energy company and is focused on providing employment opportunities for the communities in which they operate.

The six roles will be based in the Surat Basin region and may work across Origin sites in Condabri Central, Talinga, Reedy Creek Operation site (Yuleba) and at Spring Gully.


The Positions

There are a total of six positions available across three trade areas

1st Year Mechanical Apprentice – Applications Closed

1st Year Dual Trade - Electrical and Instrumentation Apprentice – Applications Closed

Telecommunications Trainee – Applications Closed


Local Information Sessions – Registrations Open

MIGAS together with Origin will be hosting local information sessions in Chinchilla, Roma and Miles to provide more details about the roles support for applicants. Attendees will also hear directly from Origin staff about what it’s like to be part of their team and what strengths they are looking for in potential candidates.
