Have you been thinking about starting an Australian Apprenticeship or Traineeship in the Toowoomba region?
MIGAS is committed to providing ongoing employment opportunities in Regional Queensland which has lead us to provide our Apprenticeship services across the Darling Downs and Surat Basin for a number of years now.
We have worked alongside employers in Toowoomba, Dalby, Chinchilla, Miles and Roma to support Apprentices and Trainees in securing a better future for themselves, and recognise the commitment these businesses have to securing futures for the local community.
We know employment opportunities exist in this area for those interested in traditional trade careers.
We are looking for outstanding individuals who have a passion for hard work and are driven to achieve in their chosen trade.
Toowoomba local and newly appointed Business Development Officer for the Toowoomba region, Chris Winter, says, “MIGAS has been involved in training apprentices for over 25 years, and we want to apply this experience to offer more apprenticeship opportunities to Darling Downs residents.”
“We’re here to support apprentices, and in turn provide the skilled labour local businesses need to continue utilising the flourishing industry in Toowoomba. We’ve seen a number of strong infrastructure changes in the region, such as the Toowoomba Bypass and the Warrego Highway upgrade, but the best is yet to come.
We will be focussing our work in traditional trade areas, and will be aiming to place apprentices into boilermaking, electrical, diesel mechanics and fitting and turning employment that will secure their future and the future of industry in the Darling Downs and surrounding areas."
Chris is backed up in Toowoomba by our QLD/WA State Manager, Melissa Gleeson, and Business Development Manager, Charlie Fetoai, along with the rest of the highly experienced team scattered throughout Regional QLD.
