Civil Construction involves the construction of residential, commercial and industrial infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, tunnels, footpaths, building foundations and more. It is a large industry that incorporates a number of different qualifications and specialisations.
Civil Construction apprentices and trainees often build the formwork for concrete structures. They may work in a range of environments, from residential developments constructing footpaths, to mine sites structuring the foundations for large-scale concrete structures like bridges.
