Traineeships in Logistics and Warehousing Operations are integral to commencing a career in the Warehousing and Supply Chain Logistics sector which services major industries across Australia. These traineeships are entry level opportunities where further qualifications and experience can lead to positions in management.

The scope of your role as a trainee will be dependent on your Host Employer and the industry which they service. This could include industries such as plumbing and construction supplies, retail supply chain products, heavy vehicle equipment, or chemical storage and gas. There are a number of roles performed in these workplaces including Despatch, Store Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics Administration. A traineeship often includes exposure to all of these areas allowing you to find your strengths and gain a holistic picture of the role you would ultimately play on completing your qualification.

Warehousing traineeships are typically 12months in duration. MIGAS will facilitate your practical work placement with one of our quality host employers. In addition to on-the-job training, we will assist you with enrolment through a Registered Training Organisation to complete your certification. With MIGAS you will be fully supported throughout the duration of your placement by a Field Officer and by the wider MIGAS Apprentices and Trainees community.
