The MIGAS team is available to share tips and insights into securing an apprenticeship or traineeship in skilled trades, particularly to students currently in Years 11 and 12.

Why would you want MIGAS at your school? Given our area of expertise is in trade-based apprenticeship and traineeship pathways, these presentations can really help school-aged students choose the best possible trade pathway to suit their skills, personal attributes and career aspirations.

Our preference is to present to smaller groups of Year 11 and 12 students who have a genuine interest in pursuing an apprenticeship or traineeship in skilled trades. We find that students are more engaged with the content and are able to ask more specific questions about their future career choices.

MIGAS is available to:

  • Attend selected secondary school career fairs for Year 11 and 12 students, depending on location and topic
  • Present to groups of Year 11 and 12 (and post Year 12) students who are specifically interested in taking up an apprenticeship or traineeship in skilled trades – either hosted at your school or a MIGAS branch location
  • Live stream a web-based information session about skilled trades apprenticeships and traineeships for regional and rural secondary schools
