The Opportunity

Partnering with our host Statewide Bearings, we are seeking a Business Trainee who is eager to learn and gain valuable in a environment.

This full-time position, based in Kewdale, Perth, offers the opportunity to complete a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business while developing practical workplace skills.

Over the 24 months, you will receive ongoing mentoring and support, gaining practical experience while completing relevant theoretical coursework.

Key Duties:

  • Perform general administration duties in line with the Purchasing Department
  • Provide general administrative support across departments
  • Conduct data entry and manage databases accurately
  • Assist with basic tasks within the supply department
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Liaise with internal departments and our third-party stakeholders as required
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Department
  • Work alongside Warehouse Staff
  • Partner with branch supply teams to understand and meet our supply requirements

  • Complete a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business in the first year. After that you will be able to continue with Statewide Bearings in a second year to pursue a BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business.

About You

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. A genuine interest in pursuing a career in business, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, is essential for this traineeship.

Key Attributes and Skills:

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Interest in learning about Statewide Bearings’ products and services
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to ask questions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills (email, typing, data entry)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong English and mathematics skills
  • Previous work experience, including part-time employment or work placements
  • School certification in a relevant area is desirable

In addition:

  • You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Must possess a valid Driver's Licence to perform required duties
  • Have the ability to pass a Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
