MIGAS Annual Apprentice Awards in Preparation

MIGAS Annual Awards Nights

MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees is in preparation for our annual Awards Nights, this year held in Brisbane and Sydney, in celebration of hard-working Australian Apprentices, Trainees, School-based Apprentices and Trainees, Labour Hire workers, Safety conscious employees and Australian businesses.

Tickets are on sale now for the June and July events, which includes dinner, drinks, dessert and a presentation from Olympic Gold Medalist guest speaker, Steven Bradbury.

Nominations are officially open, with MIGAS Host Companies nominating their apprentices, trainees and labour hire workers for award categories including State Winners of the Year, Outstanding Awards, State Labour Hire of the Year and State Safety Star of the Year.

Acting MIGAS CEO, Philip Marwedel, hopes the annual event brings in the highest record of nominations to date, encouraging the host companies to continue to highlight the skills and talents of the next generation of tradespeople.

“MIGAS continues to receive praise on the apprentices, trainees and labour hire staff currently in the workplace and we want to see that commendation given to the apprentices themselves through the MIGAS awards,” he said.

The events will also celebrate all MIGAS Host Companies, who are helping to secure a qualified future for Australian Industry by dedicating their time to training Australian Apprentices and Trainees. A prestigious Employer of the Year Award will be presented at each state event.

We look forward to seeing you there!
