MIGAS HeadStart Welcomes Record Number of Year 12 Students

At MIGAS we are passionate about helping more young people find a meaningful and rewarding career in skilled trades. That’s why we’ve invested in our HeadStart Program for year 12 students in Brisbane.

Now in its third year, we are pleased to welcome more students to the Program than ever before.

The HeadStart Program aims to prepare students for the expectations of life after school within a trade apprenticeship to ensure they complete and get the most out of their qualifications. HeadStart workshops focus on developing the employability skills that matter most to host employers looking for an apprentice.

The Program opens up conversations about workplace expectations, developing resilience, effective communication, workplace health and safety, and managing your digital footprint on the internet to become a successful apprentice.

Check out our workshop one recap here and stay tuned for more updates on the Class of 2018.

An announcement about our 2019 program offering in Sydney and Brisbane will be made shortly. Stay connected to MIGAS, subscribe today.
