MIGAS Scholarship Program: 2021 MiScholarship Winners Announced

MIGAS Boilermaker Apprentice, Sam Freeman, was the recipient of a 2021 MiScholarship Top Performer award.

MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees is proud to announce the recipients of the 2021 MiScholarship Program, announced at a special online ceremony held on 30 March 2022.

The annual program is open to current apprentices and trainees employed by MIGAS, and highlights the exceptional talent that exists in the apprenticeship and trainee workforce within Australian skilled trades.

Winners of Top Performer Scholarships and Women in Trades Scholarships were revealed to an audience of apprentices, trainees, host employers and MIGAS staff. This year, CEO Commendations were also announced as part of the annual scholarship program.

Top Performer Scholarship Recipients

Recognises MIGAS apprentices and trainees who have demonstrated exceptional performance on-the-job in their placement and formal training:

James Moore, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Apprentice hosted by Johnson Controls Australia – Melbourne, VIC

Levi Bellette, Diesel Fitter Apprentice hosted by Anglo American Metallurgical Coal – Middlemount, QLD

Matthew Tierney, Boilermaking Apprentice hosted by Brandon’s Electrical – Acacia Ridge, QLD

Sam Freeman, Boilermaking Apprentice hosted by Bradken Limited – Ipswich, QLD
