Safety Star Award Winner December 2015
Congratulations to our December 2015 Safety Star winner Corey Williams, 3rd year Mechanical Fitting apprentice with Origin Energy QLD!
Corey was nominated for the December Safety Star Award by his supervisor, Jason, for a safety observation noted by an onsite tradesman. It was noted that Corey had prompted a number of crew members more than a few times to continue drinking water. As Corey had only recently rotated to Origin from another host company, they were pleased to see someone new to the company taking notice of the safety issues that affect them day to day.
With temperatures around the country continuing to soar during Summer, this is a timely reminder to all of our apprentices, trainees and host companies to stay hydrated and cool!
Well done Corey!
