Safety Star Award Winner February 2016

Congratulations to our February 2016 Safety Star winner Nicholas Rubesaame, an Electrical Apprentice with Unite Electrical Services on the Sunshine Coast.

Nick’s supervisor Todd Hasthorpe commended Nick on his exceptional communication skills, and his enthusiasm for learning new things. Nick always takes initiative in the workplace by continue to find work when his tasks are completed.

MIGAS Business Development Officer for the Sunshine Coast, Amanda Davis also praised Nick for his communication skills, noting that he always keeps her informed when he’s going to be off site for any reason. Nick applies this impeccable communication standard to keeping the site clean and free from any hazards, and encourages the same behaviour with the other tradespeople on site. He always respects his PPE and keeps this in good condition at all times.
