Internal Sales Traineeship

The Opportunity

Statewide Bearings is one of Australia’s most trusted bearing suppliers, offering an extensive range of bearing lubrication, power transmission, pumps, and linear motion products.

This large Australian owned company has multiple branches in each state with various opportunities for progression in all areas of business.

Undertaking this 24-month traineeship will give you the opportunity to complete both your BSB30120 Certificate III in Business  and BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business – all while getting paid!

Job Details

The key responsibilities are: 

  • Answering and responding to phone and email internal sales
  • Processing current and outstanding orders
  • Building and maintaining relationships
  • Liaising and communicating with the internal procurement team to achieve customer deliveries
  • Managing sales questions from customers to secure new orders
  • Collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide support
  • Prioritising and effectively managing time
  • Assisting customers in solving problems with installed equipment
  • Ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met

About You

  • The desire to learn and a positive attitude with excellent communication skills
  • Physically fit to assist with store work as required
  • Ability to perform manual handling duties, including frequent lifting of up to 15kgs
  • Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
  • Forklift licence would be advantageous but not essential
