We are pleased to announce that MIGAS is working with our premier Host Employer, Helweld Engineering in the search for motivated, hardworking applicants who are serious about securing a highly sought-after trade qualification. 

A proud family owned and world renowned regional Australian innovator and manufacturer, Hedweld Engineering have expanded their service capability, opening their NEW advanced manufacturing facility in Mt Thorley, New South Wales.

There are five roles available across three trade specialisations.

THE POSITIONS

JOB # 4034 – Fabrication (Boilermaker) Apprenticeships (two positions available) – APPLICATIONS CLOSED

Discover a trade where you not only learn about how things work but also learn how to weld, craft and assemble using all the tools you’ve ever wanted to get your hands on. An interest in mechanics and strong comprehension in Mathematics are key to success as a Boilermaker.

JOB # 4035 – Engineering – Machinist (Fitter) Apprenticeships (two positions available) – APPLICATIONS CLOSED

If you want to be part of the team that puts it all together this is the trade for you. You’ll learn to examine and interpret specifications, utilising the everyday tools and the big ones, to ensure accuracy and quality in your finished work. An interest in mechanics and strong comprehension in Mathematics are key to success as a Fitter/Mechinist.

JOB # 4035 – Warehousing Traineeship – APPLICATIONS CLOSED

Preside over the storage, packaging and distribution of all the important parts and tools – set yourself on a career path in Warehousing where the goal is limited only by your imagination and drive for skills development. Warehousing Operations is vital in the manufacturing sector and this traineeship is perfect for someone with strong attention to detail, who is ready to learn from exceptional mentors.
